We are currently looking for senior mechanical designers for our R&D department in Västerås. We primarily work on-site with our clients, where the assignments vary in size and complexity from simpler fixtures to custom-built machines. The role of a mechanical designer with us may therefore involve design from scratch, improvements of existing components and products, requirements management, customer contact, quotation work, purchasing, and collaboration with programmers and electrical designers.

Hello You!

• You have many years of experience in mechanical design.
• You have the ability to see the connection between product development, usage, and production.
• You can produce manufacturing documentation in the form of 3D files, drawings, and BOM lists.
• You have knowledge of one or more CAD programs and PDM systems.
• Experience in technical calculations (FEM), machine safety, and CE marking is a plus.
• We expect you to have a bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.

You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, and we see it as a positive if you have experience as a design leader or project manager.
