The Finance Union is now looking for a creative, technically skilled, and visually strong graphic designer for a temporary position in the internal editorial team within the communication, opinion, and marketing unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute with visual concepts and production that enhance the union's visibility and impact – both externally and internally. You will work on everything from ideas and concept development to final production in both digital and printed channels.

About the position

This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted through Bravura, and you will be employed directly by the Finance Union. The position is a temporary role for at least 12 months.

About the company

The Finance Union is the largest trade union for everyone working in the banking and finance sector. The union currently has about 30,000 members, is politically independent, and is a member of TCO. You can find members everywhere – in large banks with thousands of employees as well as in small brokerage firms with niche operations. The Finance Union represents the members' trade union interests and influences the development within the finance sector.

The office consists of 40 employees, and you will be part of the editorial team within the Communication, Opinion, and Marketing unit. Your manager is the unit manager, who is also the communication manager, and the operational work in daily life is coordinated by the editorial leader. The Finance Union offers:

Responsibilities

As a graphic designer, you will be a key person in the Finance Union's editorial and in-house team, which is part of the Communication, Opinion, and Marketing unit. Together with digital editors and content producers, you will produce content for owned and earned channels – from campaigns (e.g., always on, recruitment, and opinion) to newsletters, educational materials, and digital customer journeys.

You are used to working throughout the entire process – from idea and concept development to final graphic production, with a particular focus on digital channels. Your assignment includes creating visual content in the form of graphic elements, infographics, animations, and motion graphics. You use your creative and communicative ability to visualize complex information in an engaging and accessible way, both for internal and external communication.

Examples of tasks:

• Idea and sketch work
• Concept development
• Creation of layouts for digital and printed graphic materials
• Production of both printed and motion campaign units based on developed concepts
• Film and image production and editing
• Creation of presentation materials
• Contact and collaboration with external agencies
• Participation in workshops and operational meetings

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education in communication or marketing

• At least three years of experience in graphic design and motion production for digital channels, social media, and printed materials. Preferably at an in-house agency where you have worked with both internal and external communication

• Very good knowledge of programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, or similar programs

• Experience with software for motion production, such as After Effects or Animate

• Very good skills in expressing yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
