Apoteket ABStockholms län, Stockholm
Previous experience is desired
Our Door Opens Your Future!
We are currently looking for a LMA who wants to help us broaden our horizons, as we are about to take a new step in our quality work within the pharmacy group. Our 2 pharmacies are very different, which is part of the charm and intrigue of working with us, where tradition and authenticity blend with innovation and fast service. With us, there are many opportunities for you who value quality, patient safety, and considerate sales.
Pharmacy Korpen in Gamla Stan dates back to the 1670s and continues to fascinate both us who work there and all our visiting tourists. With decor from the 1920s, the pharmacy is a living museum, creating a completely unique environment to work and operate in.
Pharmacy C W Scheele, on the other hand, provides the only 24-hour pharmacy in Sweden, in addition to traditional pharmaceutical supply as seen in all pharmacies in the country, including national emergency deliveries to healthcare (with or without sirens) and pharmaceutical deliveries to Sweden's embassies abroad. The pharmacy has been designated as an emergency pharmacy by the National Board of Health and Welfare and distributes a large number of antidotes and snake venom serum nationally in acute poisoning situations.
In the pharmacy group, you will collaborate with over 30 colleagues with many different tasks and areas of expertise. In addition to serving the public (directly or with home delivery), we also supply healthcare units, ship pharmacies, and specialist clinics with pharmaceuticals.
We are now looking for someone to join our team who wants to work alongside our existing LMA to take responsibility for ensuring that we best meet each individual's own experience of health and well-being - our door is open!
About the Role
As one of two responsible pharmacists in our pharmacy group Pharmacy C W Scheele and Pharmacy Korpen, you will work together with your colleagues to achieve our goals within quality, patient safety, and sales.
Your formal placement as LMA will be at Pharmacy Korpen, but in practice, you will also perform certain LMA tasks at Pharmacy C W Scheele together with our existing LMA. Together, you will both act with commitment and credibility and help our customers based on your pharmaceutical competence and expertise.
For us, it is important that we as a pharmacy group continue to develop, and we want you to be part of that journey. In the role, you are also expected to contribute ideas and initiatives to develop our business into a pharmacy that becomes the obvious choice for our customers.
As an LMA at the pharmacy, we want to offer you a platform where you can grow and develop. Just as you are expected to build a long-term relationship with your customers, we want to do the same with you.
Your Main Areas of Responsibility
- Continuously work on improving routines and processes
- Conduct self-inspections and provide support in conducting risk analysis and event analysis
- Guide your colleagues by providing support with questions and making safe pharmaceutical assessments
- Actively work with customer meetings and create added value for our customers
- Stay updated and informed about our campaigns and new products and provide our customers with professional service
Your Competencies
For this position, we are looking for someone who is a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician and has worked for at least two years as LMA in an outpatient pharmacy. You understand the importance of good customer interactions, have experience in advisory sales while valuing and working to maintain high standards of quality.
To be successful in the role of LMA, we see that you are solution-oriented, which means that you act on challenges that arise in your role but also in the business. You are meticulous, meaning that no important and crucial details are missed.
As LMA, you have good collaboration skills where you actively contribute to creating a well-functioning team and help your colleagues with common tasks. It is also important that you have the ability to stay updated on changes in the pharmaceutical and medication-related environment and can convey your knowledge to your colleagues.
You have very good knowledge of the regulations for pharmacies and are fluent in Swedish both spoken and written. In addition to this, you have worked for at least two years with:
- Deviation management with root cause investigation and planning and follow-up of measures
- Establishing and revising instructions in the self-control program
- Conducting self-inspections and planning and following up on measures
When It Feels Right
Don't think too long. Instead, let us tell you about the role and the business so you can then decide if it feels right for you. Apply now!
We want your application to consist of your CV and answers to our selection questions. You do not need to send a cover letter. The selection questions help us better understand your experience and qualifications for the current role and increase our accuracy.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Pharmacy Korpen is open weekdays 9-19; Saturdays 10-16 and Sundays 11-16. Pharmacy C W Scheele is open 24/7. Even though Pharmacy C W Scheele is a 24-hour pharmacy, you will primarily work during the day and evening with some weekend shifts. Night work may occur.
