As the position is primarily a part-time job intended for summer 2025 (with the possibility of continued employment after summer), we wish that you are available for work between weeks 24-33.

The guard training will be offered from March to May. The training lasts 9 days and will primarily be held in Lund or Malmö. The first week Monday to Friday 08-17, the second week Monday to Thursday 08-17. Securitas will cover both training, meals, and hotel costs.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Ljungby, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Working every other weekend is common.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers - primarily at industries, offices, and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility. The working hours are mainly at night.

As a stationary guard, your main task is to deliver safety to one of our customers by being alert and ensuring that everything is in order. Often you work at the entrance of a larger company, checking those who pass in and out, but you may also perform patrols and camera surveillance. The tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility, often both day and night.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
• At least 18 years old

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe that you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who are applying are an independent person and trust your own abilities, quickly understand problems and solve them creatively. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
