About the position

As the venue manager/bar manager at Shotluckan in Uppsala, you will be responsible for leading the operations with a balance between administrative and operational tasks. The role means you will work both behind the scenes and on the floor to ensure that the business runs efficiently and that our guests have a fantastic experience.

The administrative part includes planning and scheduling, inventory and orders, as well as taking overall responsibility for the staff. You are expected to lead, support, and develop your team while creating a positive and engaging work environment. An important part of the role is also to build relationships with student life in Uppsala, book and organize events such as bar rounds and sittings, and be responsible for the business's presence and content on social media.

In the operational part of the position, you are a visible leader on-site who inspires and motivates your team. You contribute to a high level of service and ensure that every guest receives a unique and memorable experience. With your leadership, you create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere that permeates the entire operation.

The position consists of 50% administrative work and 50% service at the bar.

As the venue manager/bar manager, you report directly to the regional manager and have access to support and guidance in both strategic and operational matters.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a leader, an initiator, and loves people! Experience in the bar or restaurant industry is required, preferably in a leadership role. You are a person with a strong ability to combine operational work with administrative responsibility and have a natural talent for communication and leadership. Creativity and initiative are central qualities in the role, as well as the ability to see both details and the big picture in daily work.
