Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where service spirit and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you create tasteful and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability.

The position includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist in menu planning and inventory.

About Military Restaurant Frösunda

The restaurant is located in a military area, about 2 km from the center of Enköping. Restaurant Frösunda serves approximately 500 - 800 lunches per day and includes breakfast, dinner, evening meals, and catering to the area. Representation is often present.

The restaurant also has a café and kiosk that are frequently visited. Throughout the year, there are larger intensive military exercises, celebrations, and the regiment's day. Evening and weekend work may occur.

Since we operate within a protected object, a background check and confidentiality certificate are required. The background check must be without remarks, and you must be a Swedish citizen as the operation is conducted within a military area.

Who are you?

You are over 18 years old
You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent
You have previous experience in restaurant work
You have the ability to plan and structure work effectively
You take responsibility through your passion to maintain a high level of service and quality in what you deliver
You see your importance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating
You can take your own initiative and are flexible in your professional role
You speak and write Swedish
Experience with menu planning systems is a plus
