Train Drivers Wanted at Vy Tåg

Vy Tåg is the subsidiary that operates in the Swedish railway market. The turnover is 913 million kronor, we have around 500 employees and four traffic assignments: Värmlandstrafik, X-trafik, Norrtåg, and Nattåget Norrland (Stockholm–Narvik/Luleå). Additionally, we have our own weekend traffic Oslo–Karlstad–Stockholm and operate express trains Oslo–Gothenburg in collaboration with our owner.

We are looking for train drivers with a train driver's license for summer temporary positions during the period of May - September with the possibility of extension. The work location is Ånge.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are to:

always prioritize safety
operate trains according to applicable regulations at all times
manage traffic disruptions and collaborate with your colleagues
provide ongoing information to our passengers to update them on the traffic situation
notice, manage, and report deviations

Qualifications

Formal requirements:

You are a certified train driver with a valid driver's license
The job requires uniform compliance.

Personal qualities

We want you to be:

attentive and independent
able to concentrate well and handle stressful situations
service-oriented and interested in interacting with people
fluent in both Swedish and English
proficient in IT.

Trains operate every day of the year. Therefore, the job involves shift work, weekend work, and overnight stays in other locations. Your employment is covered by the applicable collective agreement.
