JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you enjoy tinkering, solving problems, and seeing results? As a maintenance technician with us, you will work with varied and challenging tasks. We place great importance on safety and support you in your personal development.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a maintenance technician focusing on mechanical maintenance. With us, you will work with preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs at the combined heat and power plants and our external facilities for district heating and cooling. Independently performed tasks will be mixed with teamwork.

In your role, you will create conditions for an operation characterized by high safety, availability, and continuous improvement. You will also have the opportunity to participate in projects and collaborate with colleagues from different departments.

On-call duty will be included once you have grown into the role and become familiar with the facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a technical education and experience in mechanical maintenance work. You enjoy solving problems, are organized and methodical, and have an easy time collaborating with others, both internally and externally. You are responsible and have the ability to plan, execute, and prioritize your tasks effectively. You need to have good knowledge of repairing machines, welding both black and white materials, and familiarity with valves, hydraulics, and machining is a merit.

Experience working in process or energy facilities, as well as good computer skills and experience working in maintenance systems, are merits. A driver's license is required. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Due to the nature of Växjö Energi's operations and the tasks involved, a security clearance will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
