About the Position

You have a key role and together with nursing managers, colleagues, and supervisors, you work for a good learning environment with high quality and good pedagogical skills within all medical units. Our 4 medical units in Solna are:

• ME Radiology
• ME Neuroradiology
• ME Pediatric Radiology
• ME Nuclear Medicine and Hospital Physics

The work also includes collaboration with supervisors in all professions for which students are placed in Karolinska's network.

As an AKA/clinical instructor, you are responsible for driving development, coordination, and follow-up of students placed with us in accordance with set goals and given frameworks. The AKA mission also includes an adjunct position at an educational institution, the Karolinska Institutet.

The position is combined with clinical duties as a radiology nurse with day/evening and weekend shifts by agreement and according to the needs of the operation, based on your specialty. The scope may vary according to the needs of the operation, and the duties are designed in consultation with the manager.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed radiology nurse
• Supervisor training, at least 7.5 credits

Meritorious:

• Previous experience of the AKA mission or student coordinator (or equivalent)
• Master's degree in a relevant field
