About the job as a Pool Distributor

As a Pool Distributor at VTD, you need to be adaptable, where your focus may need to quickly shift between different products, different delivery options. It is a job that requires problem-solving skills, a sense of direction, and good physical fitness as it is a high-paced job with a lot of stairs to climb. The work is outdoors, which means that the weather is a significant part of your work environment.

As a Pool Distributor, you start your shift at a branch or pick-up point. At the branch, you count and pack your products before embarking on an assigned route. During the night, you deliver packages, newspapers, and mail to customers until early morning. Our products are distributed by car, electric quad bike, electric moped, or electric bike. All vehicles are provided by VTD.

A pool distributor is a flexible employee who supports the operation by working in different areas with high workloads. They cover vacant positions and assist colleagues as needed, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time.

The vehicles available for the position are:

• Car
• Moped
• Bicycle

We see it as an advantage if you have the ability to drive all of these vehicles.

These are our requirements for the position as a Pool Distributor

• A valid work permit. Your work permit must be granted, i.e., not pending with the Swedish Migration Agency.
• You must be at least 18 years old to work with us
• You can read, understand, and write longer texts in Swedish or English.

We also see it as advantageous if you have a B driver's license or previous experience working as a distributor.

Working hours and schedule

• The position starts immediately and is a temporary employment that extends until 2025-04-01.
• This ad applies to working from our branch in Sävedalen.
• The employment rate is about 65% of the available positions.
• Schedule: Work 7 days, off 3 days, work 7 days, off 4 days

Salary

The salary is paid in arrears, which means it is paid out the month after. The salary is negotiated according to the collective agreement with the Transport Workers' Union and corresponds to 157.17 SEK/hour and overtime between 10-32 SEK/hour. An average position with us is about 70%, which means a salary of about 19,000 SEK excluding overtime pay.
