We are currently facing an exciting expansion of our IT environment in line with the requirements of NIS2 and the upcoming integration into the national cybersecurity center.

Responsibilities

As a network administrator, you are part of a competent and dedicated team that ensures that the IT environment and applications meet the needs and security requirements of the business. In the role of network administrator, you will have overall responsibility for the network and firewall environment, from hardware assembly to design, development, and configuration. The role also includes responsibility for monitoring, operation, implementation of changes in the network environment, lifecycle management, and documentation of the network and IT infrastructure. In addition, you will participate in the planning, monitoring, and analysis of our entire IT environment and support our system administrators as needed. CERT-SE offers good opportunities for competence development through training, exercises, external collaboration, and knowledge exchange both within and outside Sweden. There is also the opportunity to participate in CERT-SE's operational analysis work together with our IT security specialists. CERT-SE participates annually in several national and international cyber exercises. You will have the opportunity to participate in these exercises and CTFs to develop both your and our capabilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with very good knowledge in the development, operation, and management of networks with high availability and security requirements. You also have:

• At least five years of work experience in network and firewall administration
• The ability to work independently with operation, maintenance, and administration of networks, switching, routing, and firewalls
• Good knowledge in network troubleshooting
• Experience in analyzing network logs
• Basic Linux competence

It is a merit if you have worked with products from Checkpoint and Juniper as well as administration of BGP and network automation. The work involves a lot of collaboration within and outside the team. Therefore, we also see that you are good at working both independently and in a group and have good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish. About the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period. Your location will be Stockholm at our office Tomteboda, and travel in the position occurs. Swedish citizenship is a requirement for employment at MSB as it involves placement in a security class. Employment requires a satisfactory result in the security clearance with a register check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
