Your role

As a Project Manager at Kaj Johansson Åkeri, you are responsible for assigned projects and drive them from contract to handover to the customer. You lead the projects towards established goals in terms of profitability, quality, and work environment. This entails responsibility for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the projects. The Project Manager is responsible for customer contact and ensures that customer expectations are met.

We are organized so that you, as a project manager, have the best conditions to focus on your projects and the business. You have no formal personnel responsibility, you have great support from the coordination manager and the construction engineer who will be close to you in the projects you lead. Foremen and skilled workers will be your operational resources. We are simply organized so that you, as a Project Manager, should have the opportunity to focus on the projects and thus have a good basis for doing a good job! We mainly carry out our own jobs with our own machines, which we see as a strength for both us and our clients. Your immediate manager is the Business Area Manager in Civil Engineering and your location is Umeå.
