The Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK) conducts a wide range of internal medicine activities at the Hospital in Motala. The proximity to the University Hospital in Linköping provides excellent opportunities for collaboration in both clinical everyday life and in education, research, and development. Our mission includes emergency care, inpatient care, outpatient care, as well as hospital-affiliated home care (LAH) in Motala and Mjölby, which provides specialized palliative care.

We operate in emergency care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, geriatric orthopedics, hematology, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and palliative medicine. We currently have 45 beds and around 360 employees from various professional groups working together to provide the best care to the population in western Östergötland.

We are now looking for a new ST Doctor to join the team at our cardiology department, the medical emergency care teams (MAVA), the stroke care team, the geriatric emergency care department (GAVA), or the medical observation department (MOA), which is our intermediate care department.

Job Description

We offer you a varied and stimulating job with main duties in our medical wards and at the emergency department. You also participate in the clinic's on-call activities as a primary on-call doctor and house/intermediate on-call doctor. Medical quality is high on the agenda, which is why development work is part of the daily work. The work also includes supervision/training of students, junior colleagues, and other professional groups. As an ST Doctor with us, you naturally have your own dedicated supervisor.

Team

We prioritize physicians' opportunities for further education and recovery, which is why we are now looking for someone who wants to strengthen and join the clinic's medical team, consisting of about 35 friendly colleagues. As an employee at our clinic, you are expected to contribute to the development of the operations and have a good approach to both patients and colleagues.

About You

You have a Swedish medical license, and we prefer if you have previous experience in internal medicine. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing (Swedish C1), as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently. We also welcome other language skills.

You are good at collaborating with colleagues and other professionals, empathetic, and keen on having good communication with patients and colleagues. The work requires that you have the ability to plan, organize, and structure your work efficiently.
