Igelbäckskolan is a municipal resource school that welcomes students with ASD diagnoses. Here, teachers and resource educators work together with students from grades 4 to 9. Our teaching groups are small, and we focus on learning and well-being.

At Igelbäckskolan, you help create the best learning environment for our students who need engaged and exceptionally skilled teachers. As a teacher with us, you need to be flexible and attentive. You must have the ability to see each student's individual needs and conditions, and then adapt your approach and teaching accordingly.

You tackle challenges with curiosity. You think outside the box and are accustomed to solving problems methodically and analytically. You reflect, plan, and evaluate your teaching together with colleagues and strive to find solutions so that our students can continue to develop academically and socially.

You will teach social studies in all our student groups. We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach grades 4-9. You need to have experience teaching students with various special educational needs and possess special pedagogical competence. You should also have knowledge/experience in using compensatory and digital tools in teaching.

The position is a 100% temporary contract during the parental leave of the regular staff, but no later than June 18, 2026. As part of the recruitment process, you will need to present an extract from the criminal record.

Start date is August 12, 2025, or by agreement. Salary is according to agreement.
