The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school care, primary school, high school, and adapted primary and secondary schools. The Position and Responsibilities

As a meal assistant, you contribute, together with colleagues, to creating a welcoming environment and pleasant meals for the school's students and staff in the school cafeteria.

You will perform various tasks in a large kitchen such as preparing salads, setting up and serving meals, receiving and unpacking goods, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen premises clean and orderly.

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Botkyrka Municipality applies a language test before employment.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working in a large kitchen
• Documented education and experience in food hygiene and self-control
• Knowledge of special diets and adapted meals
• Strong interest in the significance of food for health and well-being and the ability to focus on the guest's needs.

As a person, you are structured and complete your tasks with good quality. You are stable and handle stressful situations constructively. It is natural for you to collaborate with your colleagues to achieve common goals and quickly find solutions to arising problems.
