Crop Sales Representative for Gotland
Are you ready for your next challenge in sales and advisory? Do you have a genuine interest in working closely with agriculture? Then this opportunity is for you! We are now looking for a dedicated and driven Crop Sales Representative for Gotland. In Lantmännen's unique value chain from field to table, agricultural activities are at the heart. What you will do
As a Crop Sales Representative, you will have a significant role within our sales organization, which is an important part of the division's operations. Your main task is to be responsible for purchasing grain and selling input goods to crop growers in Gotland, with both existing customers and a market to develop. You also have an advisory function, where based on the customer's conditions, you sell our products and services in a profitable way for both parties. Your task is also to identify customer needs to generate increased sales. As a Crop Sales Representative, you are part of a team where we actively work with action plans, goals, and regular follow-ups. You work independently under your own responsibility and plan to efficiently achieve your own, the team's, the department's, and the company's goals.
The position is at our sales office in Klintehamn on Gotland, and you report to Ida Åhlén, Regional Manager East.
What you need to succeed and thrive
You have:
- A great interest in sales and agriculture
- Post-secondary education in agriculture, such as Agronomist or Agrotechnician, or knowledge from extensive experience in the agricultural field
- Knowledge that enables you to sell products that farmers need for their operations
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- A driver's license with access to your own car
It is also advantageous to have:
- Experience in sales
You are:
- Relationship-oriented with a strong ability to build meaningful relationships with others
- Independent in your work and drive it forward with great initiative
- Results-oriented and probably also have a touch of competitive instinct that drives you to make good deals and achieve results
- Structured and organized to be able to sort large amounts of information and prioritize what needs to be done first
- Stable in handling all contacts in the sales role, for example, to be able to handle situations calmly when receiving many customer calls
