Luleå Miljöresurs AB (Lumire) has been your municipal company for recycling, waste, and water and sewage issues since the turn of the year 2021/2022. Lumire is owned by Luleå municipal company. We ensure that you have fresh and tasty drinking water from the tap and that your waste is managed, reused, or recycled using the best technology. We handle nearly 55,000 tons of waste per year, which we collect from 38,000 households and 700 businesses in Luleå. We operate the four recycling centers in Luleå and the waste facility in Sunderbyn. We significantly contribute to shaping the future city and countryside, making us an important prerequisite for Luleå's growth. We are Norrbotten's largest food producer and deliver 8 million cubic meters of drinking water annually.

In the sewage operation, we treat 10 million cubic meters of wastewater annually and produce 2 million cubic meters of green biogas. By coordinating water and waste issues within the same company, we become a stronger player in sustainable environmental technology and community building. We currently have about 220 employees working to create environmental benefits for the residents of Luleå.

We need reinforcement during the summer. You will work with the collection and transport of waste using the vehicles in our fleet. Other tasks within the operational area may also occur.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with relevant education and a few years of professional experience in truck driving. You must have at least a C driver's license and a valid YKB. CE license, ADR, experience in waste management, or other service professions are meritorious.

As a person, we want you to be flexible, self-reliant, and have a good ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners. It is an advantage if you are quick to learn routines and have a good sense of direction.
