Recruitment of Two Project Engineers: One for Water and Sewage/Construction and One for Building/Properties

The municipality is in an expansive phase and is facing large and exciting community development projects.

We therefore need to strengthen our project management team with two project engineers. One role focuses on knowledge and experience in water and sewage and road/construction, and the other role focuses on construction related to the municipality's operational premises.

Technical Administration

The Technical Administration is responsible for the municipality's properties, streets, roads, and water and sewage, and annually carries out several different investment projects. The investment volume amounts to approximately 200 million per year.

Job Responsibilities

As a project manager, you are the cohesive link in the projects. You lead and are responsible for projects throughout the entire chain with respect for goals, timelines, set budgets, and collaborating parties. The work includes project management in the investigation, planning, and implementation phases, and you carry out procurements of contract projects according to LOU. You drive, coordinate, and work for good collaboration and team spirit within the projects.

Furthermore, you are responsible for work environment, documentation, and information. You lead project meetings, have continuous communication and presentation of the projects, and engage in dialogue with the stakeholders involved. The projects should be implemented in the best technical, quality, and economic manner.

Qualifications

You likely have a water and sewage or construction engineering education at the university level or equivalent knowledge, as well as training or experience in project management.

It is an advantage if you have experience working as a project manager or in other management roles within construction projects.

It is also advantageous to have basic knowledge of consulting and contract law, construction legislation, and LOU.

You have the ability to work independently but enjoy working with complex issues and preferably together in a team with colleagues from other departments and administrations. In your projects, you also collaborate with external actors such as authorities, consultants, contractors, and the public. The employment is a permanent position, with immediate start possible.
