Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone with a positive attitude towards life who enjoys actively participating in and supporting others' interests. The assistance is dynamic and involves a lot of time outdoors, from bike rides to an active day at Liseberg. The job requires strong communication skills, as clear pedagogical methods are used to create a safe and structured everyday life.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Varberg
• has experience with autism and/or low-arousal approaches
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• enjoys working in a supportive role
• is smoke-free during working hours
• can tolerate pets

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience with epilepsy
• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 40%. The job involves working during the day, in the evening, and may also include night shifts as needed. You will work on Tuesdays from 16:50 to 21:00, Sundays from 09:00 to 18:00, and one Saturday a month from 09:00 to 18:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
