Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in Nynäshamn municipality, you will play a vital role in an organization that fulfills an important societal function. You are a clear leader in the classroom and care about good relationships, active teaching, and high goal achievement. You work from a formative approach with the student’s learning in focus. The school has been developing collegial learning around a formative approach for several years.

As a textile crafts teacher, you will work with students in grades 7-9 at Vanstaskolan and in Adapted Primary School 1-9.

About the Workplace

The primary task of the Department of Children and Education is to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment where we prepare children and youth for the future. We also work to promote access to cultural and recreational activities for all residents.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you have:

Teaching certification and qualification in the subject
Experience working as a crafts teacher with grades 7-9
Knowledge of the current curriculum
Good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have:

Experience working as a mentor.
