Smakrike Krog & Logi is a restaurant and a small hotel where the kitchen is the heart. We are located in the middle of Ljugarn, just a stone's throw from the fantastic beach and beautiful nature areas. We focus on cooking with local seasonal ingredients. We have been featured in the White Guide for many years and are also part of Kulinariska Gotland, an association of some of Gotland's best restaurants. We work with a sustainability mindset that is evident in everything from our choice of ingredients to how we treat our guests and staff. Our goal is for everyone to be proud of what we do at work and for the staff to enjoy their time and want to return. In our dining room, we serve the best we can offer for the season in the form of 5-course tasting menus. We also have a bar where our guests can enjoy something nice to drink. During the summer, we have a lush garden where we serve everything from drinks to treats that our kitchen conjures up. Our staff is our greatest asset, and we do our utmost to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and has the tools they need to do a fantastic job with us. We are a relatively small team that works closely together, where everyone is equally important to us.

You have a few years of experience in serving and are skilled at making drinks, with the ability to sense and understand other people. We want you to engage in our guests' well-being and enjoy providing our guests with service beyond the ordinary. We believe you are creative, independent, and have the ability to see what needs to be done. You are not afraid to take your own initiatives to solve tasks in the best way. We would like you to have wine knowledge as it is an important part of the guest's overall experience to be able to recommend and sell the right drink with the food.

As a person, you want to be part of a team, where we work together towards the same goal. We believe it comes naturally to you to give our guests a warm welcome and personal service. If you have a connection to Gotland and Ljugarn, we see it as an advantage. As a waiter/waitress with us at Smakrike, you need to have experience from a la carte service as the job includes serving in all our departments. We have the restaurant open from midsummer and are now looking for reinforcement for the summer!

The job is mostly in the evenings, we work a lot with the wonderful ingredients available here on the island and want all guests to have a dining experience beyond the ordinary. In the dining room and our glassed-in veranda, we work with a 5-course tasting menu that we change according to the season and availability of ingredients. Often, suitable wines or other drinks are served with this. The job includes keeping track of the current menu and being able to communicate it to the guest. A strong interest in food and drink combined is of course a plus, to create a complete experience for our guests. We also have a small bar where we serve snacks and good drinks.
