We are looking for a business controller who wants to help shape efficient and sustainable processes in one of the municipality's most central functions. The department's goal is to maintain efficient and secure processes while providing professional support in finance and operational management to the municipality's elected representatives, as well as to administrations and companies. We offer a position with varied and developing tasks, where you will be part of an engaged and professional team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of business controller, you will be responsible for the municipality-wide work with control models and operational management. You will play a central role in the development of the municipality's systems for planning and follow-up. The work involves collecting and analyzing data, producing decision-making materials and reports that support the development and efficiency of operations.

Your tasks also include:

• Conducting performance analyses in interim reports and annual accounts.
• Developing key performance indicators to measure the development of operations.
• Conducting municipality-wide investigations and surveys.
• Participating in the work to shape and develop operational planning.
• Contributing to municipality-wide projects.
• Developing system support for business controlling.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant for the position. You have several years of current experience in the field, which includes quality development, process development, and project management. Experience working in a public or politically governed organization is an advantage. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, and experience with system support for operational planning is also a merit.

As a person, you have strong analytical skills and a holistic perspective, always considering the bigger picture by prioritizing the best interests of the operations in your decisions and actions. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. You also have good pedagogical skills, enabling you to communicate clearly and understandably, as well as good collaboration skills and responsiveness to others' opinions.
