Combitech Critical Systems Gothenburg is looking for Software/System Developers

Combitech Critical Systems Gothenburg primarily works with in-house teams and team deliveries. With us, you are part of a team responsible for its delivery, planning, and problem-solving towards our customers. The teams are based in Gothenburg, but some business trips will occur.

Today, we have several teams and are currently looking to expand with a new team. We are seeking reinforcement in several disciplines within software/system development. For example, development/configuration of drivers, software testing, scripting, and OS configuration.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

We are looking for reinforcement in several disciplines within software/system development. For example, development/configuration of drivers, software testing, scripting, and OS configuration.

You will be part of a team responsible for entire subsystems and platforms. Your tasks will be varied, focusing on integration and automation; some programming may occur, primarily in Python, Bash, or C/C++, Java, or GO. There are many languages and tools you will work with, but you do not need prior knowledge of all.

You will work with Linux environments, terminal, system development, Git, and virtualization (VirtualBox/VMware). You will work closely with your other team members and together be responsible for the team's deliveries, planning, and problem-solving.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security review with a background check.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone motivated by solving problems together with others and who appreciates working in a team. You have analytical skills and awareness of quality. We prefer that you have an academic degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Science, or equivalent, as well as at least 2 years of experience.
