About the Position

We are now looking for two experienced CNC operators for Rolfs Kuggservice in Smedjebacken – one focused on milling and one on turning. As a CNC operator with us, you will play an important role in the production of high-quality gears and special components for the industry. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in a business characterized by high technical competence, precision, and commitment.

Responsibilities 

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling or CNC turning machines
• Work from drawings to ensure approved components
• Perform measurement checks and ensure quality of produced components
• Conduct basic service and preventive maintenance on machines

Location: Smedjebacken

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Daytime

About You

We are looking for someone who is responsible, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You have a positive attitude towards your work, enjoy developing yourself, and are curious about new technology. You are also a team player who thrives in collaboration but also has the ability to work independently.

Qualifications 

• Education in CNC or equivalent experience
• Several years of practical experience as a CNC operator
• Familiarity with reading drawings and programming directly in the machine
• Knowledge of measurement technology, cutting technology, and preventive maintenance
• Good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form

Meritorious

• Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, and/or Okuma control systems
• Forklift and overhead crane licenses
• Experience in gear machining
