The federation's seven schools are located in nature and mountain-adjacent environments spread across five municipalities – Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda, Åre, and Östersund.

Description

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher for grades 4-9 with the qualification to teach mathematics.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%.

Your Future Responsibilities

In the role of mathematics teacher, you will teach students in the Introduction Program in mathematics at the primary school level, grades 4–9. The teaching is adapted to the individual needs and conditions of the students, focusing on strengthening their knowledge and preparing them for further studies or work.

The position also includes a mentoring role. As a mentor, you play a central role in the students' schooling – you follow their development, have regular contact with guardians, and collaborate with colleagues and student health to create a safe and motivating learning environment.

Who are you?

You are a licensed teacher in mathematics for primary school grades 4–9 and/or the upper secondary school's Introduction Program. It is an advantage if you have previous experience teaching in the Introduction Program (IM) or in mathematics within primary school, especially in groups with varying needs.

If you also have training or experience in neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) and/or intellectual disabilities (ID), that is an extra plus.

As a person, you are attentive, secure, and have a pedagogical foundation where each student's well-being, comfort, and learning are at the center. You adapt your teaching to the individual needs of the students and work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, student health, and guardians to create an accessible and developing learning environment.
