”DOX Bistrot and Coctaileria” is the latest restaurant addition in Alingsås. ”DOX” is an international French/Italian rooftop bistro located near the train station at the top of the building with a view over the city. We have been open for almost two years and hope you will become part of this exciting journey!

The restaurant, bar, and kitchen together create a vibrant place where the overall experience is professional and genuine, where we constantly strive to exceed our guests' expectations and drive our concept forward towards new goals.

Your personality will be crucial - for us, it is the people who make the difference! The DOX restaurant belongs to a local operator/property owner who develops properties into new exciting restaurant concepts. We care deeply for our ingredients, our climate, our guests, and our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Take orders from guests and provide recommendations on food and drinks.
• Serve food and drinks in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring guests are satisfied throughout their meal.
• Greet guests and create a positive atmosphere to provide a memorable experience.
• Clean and prepare tables for the next seating, including replenishing cutlery and glasses.
• Handle cash register and payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Follow up on customer satisfaction by gathering feedback and professionally handling any complaints.
• Work together with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Keep the work area clean and organized according to current hygiene and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the restaurant industry, in a waiter role, is required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Knowledge of menus and drinks to provide good recommendations to guests.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously, especially during peak hours.
• Service-oriented and positive attitude focused on creating a pleasant guest experience.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends.
