We are looking for a trainee bailiff in the Central Sales Department in Falun!

About the job

As an employee in the property and condominium sales section in Falun, you will plan and handle executive sales of properties and condominiums. The sales aim to ensure that debts are paid in a legally secure manner.

As a trainee bailiff, your tasks will include being responsible for processing sales cases. The tasks are very varied, and with the support of laws and regulations, you will assess the documentation and make decisions. The processing of property and condominium sales is complex and time-sensitive, with deadlines for various tasks. Your work will include planning and preparing auctions, advertising, and distributing funds after sales. It is a dynamic job with many internal and external contacts, including colleagues, parties, bidders, and appraisers. You will primarily have customer contacts via phone and email.

You will work closely with your colleagues as you share a common responsibility for the results. Your manager creates the right conditions for you and your colleagues' work.

You will start your employment as a trainee, and after successfully completing training and practice, you will receive the title of bailiff. The training lasts about a year and includes topics such as law, customer interaction, and communication techniques.

Everyone working at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks will include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a bailiff, you may discover various types of criminal activity while out on assignments and participating in collaborative efforts with other authorities. This can result in your contribution to stopping money laundering and preventing organized crime.

The Enforcement Authority in Falun has its office in pleasant premises at the old regiment. About 50 employees work at the office.

About you

Your qualifications:

  • Higher education with at least 180 credits (120 points according to the old system) in law, economics, social sciences, or another equivalent higher education
  • Driving license B
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is desirable that you have relevant experience working with case processing where you have made decisions affecting individuals. It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience in handling contacts with people in difficult life situations. Furthermore, it is also desirable that you have relevant work experience from similar tasks within a government agency.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a trainee bailiff. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.

Working in the government means that you follow the public value framework. There are also special requirements for judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during interviews about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also posed to references. We also gather information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. The information obtained will be considered in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
