We are looking for an operational purchaser for our business in Falun

About the company:

Gröning Board AB is a wholesale company and acts as a distributor of building boards to retailers, house manufacturers, packaging industry, etc. Gröning Board also saws building boards according to specific customer orders in its format saw and manufactures pallet tops and more for the packaging industry. The company trades with products from a large number of countries in Europe and the rest of the world and is FSC and PEFC certified. Gröning Board has its facility in the lower Norslund district in central Falun.

We work as a team and help each other when needed. We have a nice family atmosphere and laugh a lot together.

Your tasks:

As an operational purchaser with us, you will order goods and materials based on delivery plans and inventory needs together with our salespeople. Orders are mostly made within agreements with our suppliers located in many continents, but establishing new contacts and suppliers will also be part of your tasks. You play a key role in ensuring that the right goods are in place at the right time for our needs and that our inventory is kept at an optimal level.

You will also purchase consumables and consumable inventory for the business as a whole. Some sales and participating in and contributing to continuous improvements will also be part of your work. Since we are a small company, several tasks may arise depending on what you are interested in and want to develop within, as well as what needs arise with us.

Working hours are weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring that the right item is in the right place at the right time for the right price. As a person, you are service-oriented, meticulous, and structured.

To thrive and perform as well as possible here with us, it is important that you are proactive and not afraid to speak up when you need it to carry out your tasks. You are confident in yourself, communicative, open, and understand the importance of being part of a smaller workplace. It also requires that you can be flexible and solution-oriented as planning can sometimes change.

Experience in purchasing and logistics/planning within wholesale operations or similar is advantageous, as well as previous experience in the construction and building materials industry. You are accustomed to working with the Office package and handle both English and Swedish in speech and writing. Other languages are an advantage. Experience with business systems such as Pyramid or similar is also advantageous.
