About the Job

As an interpreter with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You will work throughout Halland, sometimes even outside the county, with varying interpreting assignments to facilitate communication and participation.

The role involves performing interpreting assignments through preparation, interpretation, and follow-up work. The tasks also include some administration.

The number of positions and employment rate may vary depending on your skills and experience. We are looking for between 1 and 3 new colleagues, with an employment rate that can vary between 50% and 100%. This will be discussed further during a potential interview.

About the Workplace

Within Communication Halland, the following services are included: Hearing Clinic, Hearing Team, Resource Center for Communication Dako, Vision Center, and Interpretation Center.

At the Interpretation Center, we perform interpreting assignments using the following methods: sign language interpretation, written interpretation, deafblind interpretation, and speech service.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education as a Written Interpreter and/or Sign Language and Deafblind Interpreter, as well as experience in the field deemed suitable by the employer. A B driver's license is required for the position as we operate regionally.

As a person, you are flexible and collaborate well with both colleagues and users of interpretation services. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who wants to help develop our operations. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
