APL, Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier AB, is tasked with manufacturing extemporaneous medicines that are individualized medicines for a single patient, aimed at improving and saving lives. Many formulations are made for children and adults with various types of hypersensitivity. Job responsibilities

In the role of maintenance engineer, you will work in the property department. There, you will be part of a close-knit team consisting of five colleagues with different technical backgrounds. Your main responsibility is to perform technical maintenance and property-related tasks. This includes handling fault reports, conducting planned maintenance, and addressing technical challenges with machines and facilities.

The area of responsibility covers both property issues and parts of production, with a particular focus on systems such as ventilation, steam, water production, and clean rooms. Much of the work involves managing contact with contractors who perform services. You will be part of a team where coordination and communication are crucial to ensure smooth flow and effective maintenance. The work requires you to learn work routines, buildings, and the clean zones, and you will initially work alongside experienced colleagues to gain a thorough understanding of the tasks and environment. The work is usually performed together with someone, which means you always have support from someone with experience at the beginning of your role.

The cross-functional collaboration with other functions, groups, specialists, and managers is important and a part of your work.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• You have a technical or scientific education
• Experience in industry, maintenance, and automated processes
• Experience in property management is an advantage

In the role of maintenance engineer, you should be practical and enjoy working with technical solutions and processes. You need to have an analytical and solution-oriented ability to quickly identify problems and find effective solutions. It is also important to be independent and take responsibility for your tasks as well as be able to drive processes forward. Good communication skills are crucial, both for documenting and reporting clearly and for collaborating effectively with others. The ability to work in a team and be a team player is also central, as close collaboration is required both within the team and with other departments. Since there are many rules and instructions to follow, it is important that you are meticulous, structured, and have a strong focus on quality. The role requires a systematic approach as well as a flexible and accommodating attitude to handle varying tasks and collaborate smoothly with both internal and external parties.
