Analysis, Strategic Management Support, and Development Work

In your role as a controller within Försäkringskassan, you are responsible for ensuring that area managers and unit managers have access to the support needed to lead and manage the operations. The role of the controller also includes managing both operations and finances and resources. This means you are responsible for analysis and interpretation of production flows, operational results, and financial results within your area of responsibility.

You provide strategic support for the area. At Försäkringskassan, we actively work with continuous improvements. You participate in or lead relevant information sessions in the area. Your work also includes preparing materials for follow-up, and you contribute to the development work within the management group at the area level and the controller network that exists in the operational area. As an employee at Försäkringskassan, you have a high security awareness since the agency comes into contact with confidential information.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has specialist competence and expertise in finance and operational management
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• works to achieve results with high quality
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous working style.

It is advantageous if you

• have experience working as a controller at Försäkringskassan or within a larger authority
• have knowledge of statistical methods for handling data sets.
• have experience using programs for statistical production in previous work
• can manage IT-based information sources and extract the essential information
• have experience working with and analyzing data sets
• have experience communicating and sharing information in groups, e.g., projects/teams.

Permanent position, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
