We are looking for a leisure teacher for the charming Kättinge school!

Who are we?

Kättinge school is located in beautiful Vikbolandet; in the countryside and close to the archipelago, about 1.5 mil from Arkösund. We are a small primary and middle school with approximately 80 students and an associated leisure center, where safety, community, and curiosity characterize the entire operation. The school collaborates on the principal position and some other roles with other schools in Vikbolandet, which gives you collegial connections both on-site and in a larger network. About 15 people work at the school.

We are in a long-term development process

where we are building structures for safety, participation, and goal fulfillment. As a leisure teacher, you will be an important part of this work.

Your responsibilities

You will work in our leisure center with students in grades F–5. The work is done in close collaboration with the school's other staff, where you, together with colleagues, create a whole for the student's entire school day. You will help plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching in the leisure center according to the curriculum, and actively work to develop the operation based on the students' needs and interests.

You will be part of a work team, participate in collegial learning, and collaborate with guardians to create safety, participation, and development.

Who are you?

You are a safe and engaged leisure teacher with good pedagogical competence and a relational approach. You enjoy working with students of different ages and see the value in creating structure, meaning, and joy in the students' everyday lives.

You have a teaching license with qualifications for leisure centers. Experience working with students who need special support or stimulation is an advantage, as well as having special skills in areas such as sports, creative activities, or nature and technology.
