The primary school/special needs school operations are part of the Education Administration. The operations include 21 primary schools as well as a special needs school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operations also include after-school care.

Bråstorpskolan, grades F-6 and after-school care, is centrally located in Motala within walking and cycling distance to most places, in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful nature. The goal of the after-school care is to guide the students and engage them in various meaningful leisure interests, as well as to complement the regular school activities. The school's guiding principles are safety, knowledge, and community, which permeate our operations, and we work with a variety of methods to meet all students' needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher in after-school care, you work within the after-school care operations and the overall school day. You pay attention to the students' needs and interests and support them in their development both intellectually and socially. You should be a clear and positive leader in the group of children with the ability to create an inspiring and accessible learning environment. You work towards inclusive solutions with the goal of ensuring that students are involved in their learning.

Your tasks involve pedagogical responsibility for the operations together with other colleagues. The tasks include planning, conducting, documenting, and evaluating the operations. You strive for a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues.

• You have a positive view of students and work with the student in focus.
• You are engaged and make the most of each student's abilities and competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in after-school care or have an assessed equivalent education/work experience that meets the needs of the position. If you have experience in similar work, we consider it an asset.

Your ability to collaborate is good, and you adapt based on different conditions. You see opportunities and can change your working methods according to the prevailing circumstances. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You should also have good knowledge of the school's governing documents.
