Who are we?

Klingsborg School is a grades 7-9 school located in the Klingsberg district between Hageby and central Norrköping. We have many exciting things going on and we are looking for someone who wants to join us on our journey into the future.

Klingsborg School has been newly renovated with facilities that were inaugurated in 2020, and we are proud of the facilities we have. We have thirteen classes distributed across grades 7-9. In addition to the regular school, there is also adapted primary school at the unit.

Klingsborg School has participated in the project “Collaboration for the Best School”. This is a project that the government has tasked the National Agency for Education to implement in order to improve knowledge outcomes and increase equity within and between schools.

During the spring term of 2018, a comprehensive analysis and mapping of the needs at the school was conducted, resulting in a tailored action plan to implement changes and improvements to achieve the desired results. Although the project concluded in the spring term of 2021, development work continues independently. It is a significant investment that we are proud to have been a part of.

We are now looking for an engaged teacher in Spanish and Physical Education who wants to be part of our team!

Your Responsibilities

As a teacher at Klingsborg School, you will be responsible for teaching and planning in your subject and also collaborating with other colleagues regarding students' knowledge development. You will actively participate in the school's, work team's, and subject team's various common tasks where you contribute your own ideas and experiences.

Mentorship is included in the position, where you and your colleague will jointly be responsible for approximately 28 students.

We are a multicultural school where the teaching is adapted to a language- and knowledge-developing working method, and the lessons are structured according to a common lesson framework.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in Spanish and Physical Education for grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you have experience in teaching and mentorship at the upper secondary level. A requirement for the position is also that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We are a school that is undergoing positive changes and we are looking for someone who enjoys working with development and improvement issues. You find it exciting to learn new things and see opportunities in changes.

As a person, you are a natural leader who creates engagement and participation around you. It is of great importance that you easily establish contacts and maintain relationships with students and colleagues.

You have a good understanding that people absorb knowledge in different ways and can adapt the way you convey knowledge to the recipient.

As we work with people, we see that you thrive in an environment where no two days are alike and that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, we also see that you are driven and persistent in striving towards set goals despite challenges along the way.
