About the job

Uddevalla Gymnasieskola consists of 17 national programs, six higher education preparatory programs, and eleven vocational programs, as well as apprenticeship training, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school.

The position is located at Sinclair House's child and leisure program and sales and service program. The aesthetic program is also housed in Sinclair House.

Job description: The position includes teaching Swedish and history as well as mentorship.

Responsibilities and qualifications

You are a certified teacher in the subjects mentioned above. You are well acquainted with the upper secondary school's governing documents, have the student in focus, possess good computer skills, and see digital technology as a natural way of working.

You have a great ability to adapt teaching based on individual students' abilities and needs. You are a good leader in the classroom and have strong communication skills. You are service-oriented with a focus on collaboration with colleagues, guardians, and students. You are engaged in the school's quality work and demonstrate clarity in working with goals and results. You possess qualities that include both structure and creativity.

We place great importance on the personal qualities and skills that we assess are required to function well in the profession.

The position includes, in addition to teaching, support for students, planning, and participation in the work team, as well as other tasks related to the assignment.
