JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Lindholmen Technical High School, there are about 1000 students, over 80 employees, and Gothenburg's widest range of technical education - both practical and theoretical. Here, students can study the Electrical and Energy Program, Industrial Technology Program, Maritime Education, Technology Program, and HVAC and Property Management Program. Lindholmen Technical High School is certified as a Teknikcollege.

We are now looking for a teacher in history, religion, and social studies. You will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the laws, regulations, and governing documents that apply to teachers. You will communicate the goals of the teaching and clarify your assessment for the student. You will assess the student's achievement of goals and assign grades based on the curriculum. The role also includes collaborating with other teachers regarding students, maintaining contact with guardians, and building relationships with students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach history, religion, and social studies at the upper secondary level. Previous experience as a teacher is an advantage. You see the computer as an essential tool for communication and pedagogy.

As a teacher, you are driven to work for each student to succeed as well as possible. You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to occur. You have a genuine interest in young people and are attentive to the needs of different students. You have the ability to adapt your working methods and approach to the target group and are open to developing new working methods.
