Särnmark assistance is now looking for staff for one of our clients in Hammarby Sjöstad.

The employment form is extra as needed, but there is the possibility of some fixed shifts per month.

The person you will be working with is an elderly man with an acquired brain injury that has led to multiple disabilities and a significant need for assistance. He requires assistance around the clock and needs help with daily care as well as all household chores. He lives with his wife in an adapted apartment.

The man's interests include technology, sports, cooking, and solving crosswords. He also enjoys taking day trips in the Stockholm area.

As an applicant, you should be empathetic, possess great patience and attentiveness, and be able to understand another person's life situation. We prefer that you have accumulated experience in care work that includes lifting and transfer techniques, feeding via PEG, and other common tasks. Since the man has significant speech difficulties, it is crucial that you master Swedish in both spoken and written forms.

As a personal assistant, you work in another person's home providing personalized support to create a functioning everyday life and meaningful existence. This involves care, performing household chores, and participating in various activities. Since the work is in another person's home, you need to respect personal integrity.

We are looking for staff who can start immediately. The schedule includes both day, evening, and weekend shifts.

You as an applicant must be a non-smoker.

In your application, you must state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a permanent residence permit in Sweden to be employed by Särnmark.

If you are applying for a position as a personal assistant for a child under 18 years old, you must also be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record before you can start working.
