SITECH is looking for a dedicated and service-oriented Field Service Technician for the Örebro/Mälardalen region! Do you enjoy working independently and have a strong interest in technology? Then this could be the job for you!

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality installations, repairs, and services of our products and systems. SITECH Sweden AB is a dealer of Trimble's machine control, weighing, and measurement technology products for the construction industry. The work is primarily field-based, which means travel within Sweden and sometimes overnight stays in other locations. You will work from home but belong to the office in Örebro, primarily covering the Örebro/Mälardalen region.

Your responsibilities include:

• Installations of machine control and weighing systems.
• Be responsible for repairs, service, and installations of high quality.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and colleagues.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle spare parts sales and cost estimates for repairs.
• Work proactively to develop and improve our products and services.
• Plan and prepare the workweek in consultation with the sales team and coordinators.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is socially competent, positive, and engaged with the ability to build trust with both customers and colleagues. You are a problem solver at heart and have a strong drive to deliver results. Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Experience in measurement technology, GPS, weighing, and laser.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in conducting technical training for customers.
• A sense of order and structure.
• Driver's license (B).
• Familiarity with machinery and experience working with machine control is considered an advantage.

For us, safety and the environment are a priority. We prefer that you have experience working according to safety procedures and conducting risk analyses. You are expected to contribute to a safe working environment by using the correct safety equipment and reporting any risks.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in service work and direct customer relations.
• Technical education in electronics/mechanics or equivalent.
• Documented experience in troubleshooting electronic/mechanical systems.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, electronics, and welding is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• You will receive a thorough introduction and the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians to quickly get into the role.
