Installation Technician at the Swedish Armed Forces

Right now, we are seeking both senior and junior installation technicians.
Main Responsibilities
The work as an installation technician primarily consists of carrying out network installations. You will mainly work with data networks TP and fiber intended for telephony and computers. You are responsible for troubleshooting and fault correction, creating and revising technical documentation, and reporting and documenting ongoing/completed projects.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the work is carried out according to applicable safety and IT security regulations. Our work is performed with high quality based on current requirements and goals. We constantly focus on simplifying and further developing our methods and processes. Most often, we work in teams with close collaboration with colleagues both within and outside our own unit. Some travel may occur, as well as overnight stays in other locations.

Qualifications
- 3-year upper secondary education with an electrical/telecommunication focus or other education deemed equivalent
- Experience working with fiber and telecommunication networks
- Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Swedish citizenship
- Driver's license at least class B
Meritorious
- Knowledge and experience of alarm installations

Other
The position is a permanent full-time civilian position. We apply a 6-month probationary period for candidates who do not have another employment within the Swedish Armed Forces. The place of employment is Örebro. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Business trips occur in the work.
