The work environment and culture at the HR department deal with strategic work environment issues at the national level. The groups standardize, develop, support, and follow up on the area of work environment and culture. The work carried out within the groups should contribute to an attractive workplace where employees thrive, can develop, and want to stay. This is done by creating conditions for a good work environment with a focus on both physical and organizational as well as social work environment and health-promoting and wellness work.
The competence area of work environment and culture consists of two groups; Work Environment and Health, and Culture and Equal Treatment, and we are a total of 16 employees including two group leaders and one competence area manager. The competence area has a nationally cohesive responsibility for systematic work environment efforts, health promotion, equal treatment, and employee participation, including cultural issues.
We are now looking for a work environment specialist focusing primarily on physical work environment who will work centrally at the Police Authority's national HR department in the competence area of Work Environment and Culture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We believe in you and your abilities and therefore give you great freedom as a national work environment specialist. You will have close collaboration with colleagues in the competence area, HR support, and HR specialists in the regions. As a work environment specialist in the National HR department, your main task is to strengthen managers' conditions to conduct systematic work environment efforts in the organization through expert support, advice, and guidance. Your tasks are varied, and you will work strategically, proactively, and operationally with responsibilities in areas such as:
- Support in and interpretation of legislation related to work environment
- Responsibilities within physical work environment, work injuries and incidents, threats and violence, lone working
- Development of methodological support and governing documents
- Development responsibility over the work injury system Stella
- Legal investigations, analysis, and responses to internal and external inquiries, referrals, and consultations
- Collaboration and dialogue with the safety organization
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- A relevant degree/education for the function such as work environment engineer or other similar education deemed equivalent by the employer
- At least five years of work experience from documented qualified work within SAM
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
- Knowledge of and experience in working with work environment issues in a large and complex organization
It is meritorious if you also have:
- Experience of participating in or driving change and development work
- Development experience in the work injury system
Personal qualities:
To be successful in the position and to thrive in the role, you are a secure person with a good ability to see the whole picture and a good understanding of the recipient. You are also skilled at creating good relationships with colleagues around you in the organization and at collaborating. Your working method is analytical, structured, and results-oriented. Furthermore, you are also used to working and driving cases independently with a good delivery. You have a reflective and coaching approach with a good ability to listen and to conduct a constructive dialogue.
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
