The changing global situation necessitates strengthening our defense, and the increased intelligence activities against Sweden and the Armed Forces are extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations, military intelligence service, and military security service. Must prevents, detects, and counteracts security threats directed against the Armed Forces and its interests in Sweden and abroad. Must is part of the Armed Forces and is directed by both the government and the Chief of Defense.

Main Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a service role in a changing environment and sees a future in payroll administration. In the role of payroll administrator, you will support others in the unit with normal payroll administrative tasks at a workplace that does not have a self-reporting system. Your main tasks will be to check and register incoming documentation, including travel expense reports. You will independently perform your tasks but belong to a work team where you and your colleagues provide important support to Must's other employees regarding time reporting, benefits, benefit taxation, and interpretation of salary and travel-related laws and agreements.
You will belong to a group of engaged and competent colleagues with various skills and backgrounds. We complement each other and are currently looking for you who are an experienced payroll officer/payroll administrator and who has experience in similar work.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience as a payroll administrator or other experience deemed relevant by the employer
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
- Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Desirable
- Experience working in the service industry/customer contact
- Experience with payroll administrative tasks within a government agency
- Experience with travel-related regulations
- Vocational education in the payroll area or other education deemed relevant by the employer
- Administrative experience
- Experience from government operations
