About BB S:t Göran

BB S:t Göran is centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. We opened in April 2023 and have now reached full capacity with 4000 births annually. We are proud of the service we have built and are looking for someone who wants to help us continue to develop the future of maternity care.

BB S:t Göran's mission includes antenatal care, obstetric ultrasound, and specialist maternity care from week 22 of pregnancy. We welcome birthing individuals from week 37+0. It is important for us to offer continuous support throughout labor and we strive to work with one birthing person – one midwife.

In our operation, neonatal care is provided by our own child team consisting of neonatologists, pediatricians, and pediatric nurses. At BB S:t Göran, our vision is to be a reliable, present, and innovative partner that creates safe care and secure families.

About the position

We are now looking for a midwife who wants to work with and lead our Specialist Maternity Care Clinic. In this role, you will be a key person in ensuring high-quality care for our birthing individuals and working to develop and improve care. As a flow leader, you are responsible for continuous quality development with the aim of improving the whole and actively work for high compliance with routines and working methods at the Specialist Maternity Care Clinic. In the role of flow leader, you assist clinic management, collaborate closely with other flow leaders and quality controllers. You report to the head of the care unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed midwife with experience and competence in maternity care; previous work with specialist maternity care is an advantage. You have several years of experience and feel secure in your professional role. As a person, you are flexible, energetic, and have a positive attitude. You enjoy working in a team and have a holistic view of care, focusing on creating safety and security for the expectant families.

We would appreciate if you have experience in improvement work, but it is not a requirement. You have good organizational skills, are collaborative, and have a solution-focused mindset.
