About the position

At Perido, we assist government agencies in the Stockholm area in finding IT technicians for upcoming assignments. We are looking for both junior and senior individuals, and more information about start dates and placements will be provided if you become a candidate for an assignment.

The following tasks may occur:

• Ensure that daily operations run smoothly
• Work with troubleshooting and assessments on how to best resolve issues
• Act as a local IT technician primarily working with the operation and development of the agency's local network environment and communication between computers within the same building
• Manage data communication, operations, and data security in larger network environments with computers at different locations and also in global networks
• Provide support and assistance to users
• Backup management

Qualifications for junior IT technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• At least one (1) year of work experience as an IT technician
• Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Knowledge of ticketing systems (for example, Easit BPS or Artologik Helpdesk)
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Qualifications for senior IT technician:

• Bachelor's degree in IT (for example, a computer engineering degree) or other equivalent IT education and at least one (1) year of work experience in a similar role. Alternatively, high school diploma or equivalent knowledge along with three (3) years of work experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Knowledge of ticketing systems (for example, Easit BPS or Artologik Helpdesk)
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
