Roku Sushi is looking for an experienced sushi chef

We at Roku Sushi are currently looking for an experienced and passionate sushi chef who wants to be a part of our team!

About the position:

Scope: Part-time, about 30 hours a week
Location: Falkenbergsgatan 4E, Gothenburg
Nearest tram stop: Varbergsgatan

Responsibilities:

Prepare and handle ingredients, especially fresh fish and seafood, in a professional and hygienic manner.
Prepare sushi, including traditional nigiri, maki, and sashimi.
Create and compose innovative fusion rolls with exciting flavors and presentation.
Ensure high quality and precision in every dish served.
Keep the workstation clean and organized according to current hygiene regulations.

Who we are looking for:

You have previous experience working as a sushi chef and can handle fish with precision.
You have a passion for Japanese cuisine and a sense of aesthetics and presentation.
You are meticulous, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You have good teamwork skills and can work both independently and in a team.
It is a plus if you can speak Chinese, but it is not a requirement.
