Head Waiter at Skara Sommarland
Skara Sommarland offers two unique restaurants – Bryggan and our new buffet restaurant – each with its own individual concept. Whether you are eager to create an elegant à la carte dish at Bryggan or prefer to craft an outstanding buffet, we have all the opportunities for you here!
We are currently looking for restaurant staff who share our great passion for food and drink while being driven by a strong desire to deliver the best possible service to our guests. With us, cooking is based on fine ingredients and maintains a high quality. We strive to create a culinary experience beyond the ordinary for our visitors. Come and be a part of our team where passion for gastronomy meets a dedicated approach to service!
Head Waiter
In this role as head waiter, you will be responsible for creating a world-class experience for guests when they visit Bryggan or our buffet restaurant. Your role includes ensuring smooth operations in the service and cash register, as well as keeping the premises clean and tidy for our guests. Like the Kitchen Manager, you are a central figure who guarantees efficiency and quality in the operation.
On stage, or in this case, in the restaurant, you oversee the room. You hear children laughing, see satisfied guests, and smell the delicious aromas from the kitchen. In the role of head waiter, your daily life will be filled with these moments, where you, together with the Kitchen Manager, act as the restaurant manager's right hand and keep full track of everything happening around the dining area. Being part of creating a positive and memorable atmosphere for our guests will become a natural part of your role as head waiter. You can communicate in Swedish and English and are at least 20 years old.
Why should you apply to us?
Working with us and providing world-class service to every guest is a challenge. It can be stressful, tough, and patience-testing, we know that. But we also know that we create magic in people's everyday lives! If you are ready to take on this challenge, you will gain fantastic memories and even friends for life. We strongly believe that if we have fun at work, it will permeate everything we do – therefore, during the season, we focus heavily on staff activities such as our kick-off – “Prisoners at Sommarland”, a big star gala at the end of the season, and much more fun!
Selection is ongoing, so send in your application today! We offer a limited number of staff accommodations. We only accept applications via our website, www.magisksommar.se (http://www.magisksommar.se).
