Carotte currently consists of three companies: Carotte Food & Event, Carotte Staff, and Carotte Housekeeping. Together, we take a comprehensive approach to everything related to food, meetings, and service for our clients. The group was founded in 1982 and has offices in Stockholm, Jönköping, and Gothenburg.

In March 2024, Carotte Food & Event opened the doors to our second restaurant and conference operation in Gothenburg, Leir Mat & Möten. Here we offer breakfast and lunch as well as conferences, events, and external catering. The concept is based on unique food created from scratch using carefully selected ingredients. We are looking for a person to work with serving during lunchtime at Leir Mat & Möten, who can also assist in our receptions when needed.

About the position

Are you a service professional with knowledge of serving? Do you want to develop your administrative skills? We need you to serve our guests with a smile daily during lunch at Leir Mat & Möten. You will also have a roaming function in our receptions when vacancies arise.

You will be an important part of the wonderful team at Leir Mat & Möten, where you work closely with our head chef, reception manager, and other service staff. You will serve lunch to both drop-in guests and conference groups.

Working hours are weekdays from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, but you are welcome to swap your day at Leir for a shift in reception between approximately 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM when the need arises!

Your profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience in serving, preferably a la carte. You are a service professional through and through and easily provide strong hospitality. You thrive in a relaxed environment where there is plenty of room for creativity, and despite the pleasant atmosphere, you always maintain a professional attitude towards our guests. Being a team player who is willing to help colleagues and is flexible when needed is a given for you.

You take pride in making guests feel well taken care of. You have the ability to overview and can be proactive in your work. As a person, you radiate joy that spreads to everyone you meet. You are someone who enjoys working in a team, while also being self-driven and hands-on in your work.

We also wish that you:

- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English - Are unpretentious, flexible, and attentive in your work. - Have some experience with administrative tasks.

Start: immediately or as desired. (Leir Mat & Möten is closed for summer during weeks 28-31, so you can enjoy the summer!) Employment: Part-time 50% Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
