The area of operation anesthesia/surgery/intensive care belongs to the Division of Function and consists of two units in the county, Sunderby Hospital and Gällivare Hospital. The ICU in Gällivare consists of both intensive care and cardiac intensive care as well as post-op.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialized training in intensive care or equivalent education, with good knowledge of the Swedish language. Experience in working in ICU or anesthesia is an advantage.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are loyal, flexible, stable, and self-sufficient. You have the ability to see the whole picture and consider the larger perspective, and you find it easy to collaborate with others.

This is what you will work with

With us in ICU/HIA/post-op, the work is varied and educational, where both nursing and medical technology are included. In intensive care, we work with the acute management of patients with serious illness or injury. Here we also take care of newly operated patients, trauma patients, and patients with failing vital functions. You will have close cooperation with other professionals who together form a team with the patient and their relatives in focus.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime. Start date by agreement.
