We are now looking for a nurse for the children's department. A safe workplace with a focus on the child at the center.

We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse with several years of experience in the profession. It is advantageous for the position if you have specialized training in pediatrics. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a person, you have good collaboration skills, can easily adapt to changing circumstances, are communicative, and act in accordance with decisions and guidelines. It is beneficial if you have the ability to structure your work independently and remain calm and stable in stressful situations.

This is what you will work with
The children's clinic belongs to Division Länssjukvård 1. The department consists of 8 care places; one reception in Gällivare and one reception in Kiruna. The unit also includes pediatric rehabilitation and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

The children's department operates around the clock, with some on-call services. We care for children from premature week 32 up to 18 years of age. Pediatric medicine, Pediatric surgery, Pediatric orthopedics, and Pediatric infections. We have on-call reception in the evenings and on weekends in the department.

We have a close collaboration with the maternity ward regarding the newborn child. We work in pair care as much as possible, one nurse and one pediatric nurse per shift. The clinic invests heavily in professional development.

Information about the position
The position is a permanent full-time employment, the working hours are shift work with weekend duties (2 weekends out of 5). Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
