Business Description

The Home Care Department is responsible for services provided by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in both regular housing (home care) and special housing. The work is partly independent, and you are responsible for planning your day together with your colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist within Gällivare Municipality, you are responsible for assessing and evaluating the physiotherapeutic part of rehabilitation efforts in both regular and special housing within the areas of elderly care, disability care, and psychiatry.
Based on the individual's needs, planning, implementation, and follow-up of services such as prescribing aids, treatments, and health-promoting work will take place. Guiding and educating care staff in transfers and handling of aids is an important part of the job. As a licensed professional, you also have a responsibility for documentation of the services that are planned, implemented, and evaluated.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. You enjoy working in a team, are flexible, and see solutions instead of problems. You have a holistic view and a good ability to analyze and reflect from different perspectives and can find solutions depending on needs and situations. Your collaboration with colleagues, clients, and the network around the client is good, and you have a responsive, coaching, and supportive approach. Your ability to plan and prioritize is good, both independently and with the support of your colleagues and immediate supervisor. Personal suitability is highly valued.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an asset when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.
