VIVA (Visioner i Vuollerimbygden AB) is a community-driven company with nearly 200 shareholders and no profit interest for the shareholders. The company has a principle that no dividends are paid to the owners; instead, all profits are reinvested in the company or other activities that contribute to the development of the community. Today, VIVA operates three facilities: Hotel Vuollerim-Gästgiveriet, which has been running for 18 years, Älvarnas Hotell, which VIVA has owned and operated for seven years, and Vuollerim Camping for the past five years.

Vuollerim is located where the Lilla and Stora Lule rivers meet in Jokkmokk municipality – a fantastic place for those who love nature and want access to a wide range of sports and outdoor activities. Here you will find, among other things, a ski slope with training tracks, an exclusive gym, a riding facility, a go-kart track, and fantastic fishing waters. The community also offers sufficient services and infrastructure for a comfortable life, including preschool and primary school up to grade 9. Additionally, it is only 15 minutes to the train and 1.5 hours to the airport.

The tasks are very varied, which is the charm of this job. We work as a team, helping each other with everything – you should not be afraid to pitch in. We have breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, and during these shifts, tasks range from clearing dishes to assisting with serving. Hands-on, the reception must be staffed where our first customer interaction occurs. In addition to these tasks, everyone helps with cleaning, cleaning the kitchen, dining room, hotel rooms, and common areas. During the summer, VIVA also hosts various events, such as barbecue evenings, themed dinners, and booked family meetings. You will assist guests and always have customer service in focus. The job may also require you to travel between different facilities depending on the day's tasks. Scheduling may vary between all days of the week, including weekends.

We are looking for both those with education and experience as well as those who lack professional experience and may just want to try something new. As a person, you are service-oriented, meticulous, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you have good teamwork skills and value a good relationship with both colleagues and customers. We are looking for someone who enjoys varied tasks; no two days are the same. This position requires you to take initiative and see what needs to be done. A driver's license is an advantage. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
